“Permanent workshop on local identity for the creation of the Terre del Primitivo diffuse museum and the development of awareness actions for an eco-sustainable territory”

La Matrinodda adheres to the project Gal Terre del Primitivo in raising awareness among the new generations to live in a world of biodiversity and local, healthy and genuine products.
This is a series of activities in which environmental sustainability is interpreted in all aspects, including the protection of the intangible heritage of the area, i.e. local culture and traditions, seen in their implications for improving the quality of life.

We would like to thank the Istituto Comprensivo “Del Bene” di Maruggio e Torricella for the participation of the fourth grade children, showing them our local crops of Primitivo and Ulivo, teaching them to recognise native aromatic plants and fruits, using natural farming methods.
