The Matrinodda
Matrinodda is located west of the Maruggese territory and south of the city of Taranto, in the upper Salento region, immersed in the primitive lands and perfectly equidistant from the sea and the town centre, about 3 km.

It is pleasant to sip a glass of wine while gazing at the surrounding vineyard and olive grove, kissed by the setting sun.
Our rooms
Rooms in typical Apulian style, with star and barrel vaulted ceilings, have a double bed, private bathroom and window with vineyard view.

The agricultural experience handed down through generations has given rise to the desire to become synergic with the environment through the production of natural crops.
In addition to the ancient flavours of wine and oil, we can enjoy homemade peasant dishes prepared with wheat, vegetables and native fruits.
Our Activities
The activities we propose are intended to stimulate our guests to learn about agricultural activities, local crafts and popular traditions. (educational workshops, musical and cultural events)
